Palm Springs Bass

So Jeff and I along with our Family's headed to Palm Springs to hang out with Gonzo Family... We also Hooked up with Kyle twice for some fishing.. Both days were pretty warm for us Northwest folks, but still nice.. First day was the Famous bass pond... Got to admit it was pretty interesting.. Basically its a housing development with this man made pond running through it.. Was good fun though, threw out some different stuff and caught some bass.. The next day we all headed for a local lake for some striped Bass... Got there, got in the boats and headed out... trolled around a bit in the morning and I finally got one.. After that there was nothing most of the day.. Kyle did get two trout... Our guide was surprised and said he probably found the only two trout in the lake.. Close to quitting time we finally got into a school of these things and everyone grabbed atleast one fish.. They are great fighters and I wish would could of gotten into more.. Still fun, nice place to visit.. But you won't catch me moving to the desert any time soon...
