Fishing the Cascades

Got out to a Cascade stream this weekend and got into a 14" brown trout on a size 16 parachute adams. I've fished this particular stream before, but usually later in the summer. The water was higher than last time, and a bit tough to wade in sections, but produced this fish in one of the small holes that was productive last year. Had another smaller brown on, but popped off. Didn't fish even an hour, but the brown was worth it. 'Till next time, Josh
