Fly tiers out there?

I know that Noah and myself have taken a stab at fly tying. I'm actively using some of my patterns with success. I heard that Jeff is starting to tie as well. I'm thinking of having a day where interested folks get together, learn/tie a new pattern or two, then actually try to apply them on the water -- potentially in the same day. One thought is to dedicate a day in the near future for some tying and fishing. In the morning, we get together for breakfast, then head over to, say, my place and learn/tie some new flies for a couple hours. Then, in the afternoon/evening, we could hit, say, Rattlesnake Lake or another piece of water nearby and test our creations. I think that this would be a great way to share techniques, learn new patterns, and is an excuse to get out on the water. I have to say that it is a pretty sweet feeling to tie up your own flies and land fish on them, especially if you add your own flavor. Thoughts? -Josh

Ok, deal, as long as you build us rods and we'll use those at the lake.
